ART RUSSIA LARGE-SCALE FAIR TO OPEN IN MOSCOW

A NEW LARGE-SCALE ART PLATFORM COMBINING ART WITH A PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

From February 20 to 23, 2020, in Moscow, at one of the central exhibition venues of the city, in the Gostiny Dvor Complex, the largest contemporary art fair Art Russia will be held for the first time - a new large-scale project by Synergy Art, the main goal of which is to combine art, education and business . The aim of the project is to support Russian art and the art market, promote Russian artists, consolidate the domestic art market and integrate it into the international context, create a new generation of collectors, and increase the general level of awareness of what is happening in contemporary art.

As part of the Art Russia fair, a large-scale international Art Forum will be held, addressing the development of the modern art market, Russia's position on the cultural map of the world, and innovative approaches to promoting Russian art and culture in world society. Fair speakers will also include: Herve Mikaelof, Joachim Pissarro, Luis Bernardo Brito, Jeffrey Taylor, Aureli Julien, Sylvan Levy, Bertrand Scholler, Cary Conte, Christina Steinbreher and many others.

As a special guest at the Art Forum of the Art Russia fair, the most stunning Silicon Valley photographer Kevin Abosch will come to show his exhibition, which has become a mystery even to the organizers! Kevin is known for his portraits of Silicon Valley's most influential entrepreneurs and celebrities. Recognizable pictures of Abosch on a black background are a symbol of status among the elite. Among the clients of Kevin are Johnny Depp, Dustin Hoffman, Zach Sims, Ebos Malal and other stars. In 2015, Kevin Abosch became famous for selling photos of a potato for 1 million euros, which he made in 2010. It was a 162x162 cm print made using dibond technology. The buyer of the potato photo was a wealthy collector of work by Abosch, who saw this image in the photographer’s house in Paris.

On the festive day, February 23, for all events of the Art Russia fair, free admission will be provided for persons under the age of 18, privileged categories of citizens and pensioners, as well as students and teachers of specialized educational institutions of the city. On the remaining days of the fair and the Art Forum, the above categories of citizens receive a 50% discount on ticket purchases. The co-organizer of the Art Russia Fair is Synergy Corporation, one of the most recognizable brands in the field of Russian education.
